If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room. The Rush Oak Park Hospital emergency department is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to meet your emergency health care needs.

Current patients

To make a non-emergency appointment with a doctor you’ve been to before, please call their office directly or visit mychart.rush.edu to schedule.

Same-day appointments

If you are sick and want to be seen by a doctor today, you can schedule a same-day appointment with a primary care physician from Rush Oak Hospital. We offer same-day appointments for children and adults of all ages with non-life-threatening health problems (e.g., cold, cough, flu, sore throat, sprains and strains, minor lacerations). Both current and new patients can take advantage of this convenient service.

*If you request a same-day appointment after 6:30 p.m. Monday – Friday or after 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, we will call you the following business day after 8:30 a.m.
